The British Isles Society, a part of the Town & Country Lifelong Learners*: Leisure Pursuits is a countries club and activity program; facilitated by volunteers, serving residents of Chandler, Gilbert and Queen Creek, AZ.
Let’s face it, we all know some of us are foreign-born and some of us are American born but the thread that holds us together is our heritage.
At least we have a few British restaurants, delis and bakeries, and the London Bridge, for a welcome taste of home – but there’s so much more we’re homesick for every now and then.
Although our primary goal is assisting you in learning about your British heritage we are also a very social group!
